What We Do
MORNING STAR PRIMARY SCHOOL
MANDAWALI, UTTAR PRADESH
Education is a fundamental right for every child, and access to quality education is essential for the overall development of a community. However, in India, many rural and underprivileged areas lack adequate educational facilities, which hampers the development of these communities. The lack of educational infrastructure in these areas results in poor literacy rates, limited employment opportunities, and a lack of community resources.
ln addition, due to the limited availability of resources, many families cannot afford to send their children to schools located in other areas. This results in a high dropout rate, and children are unable to complete their education, limiting their future opportunities.
By constructing a school, we aim to provide access to quality education and social resources, leading to improved literacy rates, increased employment opportunities, and better social engagement within these community.
MEET RAHUL
Rahul is 9 years old Indian boy, living near Mandawali, Uttar Pradesh. He does not attend any school, because his father can not afford to pay for necessary expenses.
Rahul helps his father on the the field every day. Although the school attendance is free of charge and compulsory in India, many kids still do not attend the school, because of lack of money and their need to work or help parents for living. Rahul represents a sad reality of thousands children in this area – a reality which we can change.
